Okay, don't sweat it, just focus. New blog look too!

So yeah, I've been slacking in Physics (big surprise) and haven't done anything for the last month, basically. Well, our first exam was Wednesday. I started studying, beginning at chapter 1, last Monday (yes, 2 days before the exam), and the exam was to cover 6 chapters, which was approximately 200 pages in our book. Well, I skipped class Monday and Tuesday in order to study. Needless to say, I didn't make it through the 200 pages, nor was my grasp on the Physics good at all. So, incoming F. I didn't even want to go to class to take the test Wednesday because I knew it would be a joke.

Well, I went... And surprising, I think I might have actually got a few points right on the test. :) It was all problem-solving / essay, no multiple choice, true/false, or fill-in-the-blank of course. >.< I mean, I know I didn't pass it, but I am interested to see how he grades it.

I've decided to get up at 5 AM to jog 6 days a week, with Friday being my "break" day. I WILL NOT FAIL AT THIS! So I have to go to bed in about 20 minutes (probably about the time I finish this blog post and update my weight training log). Tomorrow I've got to take my mom to her cleaning job and then I'm going to head up to the gym and get a membership, maybe... arg, I'm still debating it. It's 25$ a month, plus 50$ up front (so 75$ for the first month)... Idk.

I started watching a new anime yesterday, and should be finished with it tomorrow. It's pretty good, though of course not as good as the awe-inspiring and amazing Hajime no Ippo. The anime is Buzzer Beater and it's a sports anime based around basketball. It's a little unrealistic though, in that the whole story revolves around humans playing against aliens, called Gorans. It's still pretty good though.

Also tomorrow, I need to do my Career & Life online homework, and order the book. ALSO, WORK ON PHYSICS DUSTIN, YOU SLACKER. Okay, thanks I will.

I can tell that running in the morning (I haven't been doing it lately again, because I fail) has really been helping me though. I could clearly see my improvement yesterday when I was doing high intensity interval training on the treadmill. I managed to pull off a half hour of alternating between 4 MPH, 8 MPH, and 10 MPH. It was pretty tough, but really not that tough. I'm impressed. I didn't think I was improving at all, but obviously it must be helping, since I had trouble running at 8 MPH for even 1 minute before. Oh man, tennis really kicked my butt though, playing for 2 hours straight. It was so hot. When I got home, I looked in the mirror. My face is completely sunburnt. :x

Okay, on to the last topic thing I can think of right now: I was tagged in a "blog game" apparently by my good friend Denise @ somewhat of a spectable (Yes, the only person who might actually be reading this besides myself, lol -_-) Thanks btw, Denise. :P

So now I have to answer the questions she asked!

1. What do you lose most often? Your phone? Your keys? Your mind...? And where is it usually hiding.
Hmm... I would definitely have to say this is a tie between my wallet, cell phone, and car keys. Though, my car keys probably come out slightly ahead. They are usually hiding on my bed, or on the floor near my bed. :x

2. What was your first job? Did you like it? And what was one thing you learned from it you still use in your current big(er) person job?
Taco Bell cashier. I acted like I didn't like it, I think, but it really wasn't too bad of a job. Though, sadly, I love their food and would eat it all the time (Toxic Hell). I don't have a current big(er) person job. :x But one thing I think I learned is that people can be pretty obnoxious sometimes, but I think I already knew that before I had the job.

3. Favorite book(s)?
Harry Potter series, Da Vinci Code, Holes, The Giver, lots of others that I can't remember, lol (yes, they are my favorites even though I can't remember them!) I'm actually bad with "favorites" on any subject, since I'm "agreeable" I guess? I like everything as a my favorite.

4. What’s your favorite thing about yourself?
I don't really know. I don't really hate anything about myself, but I can't think of anything in particular that I like either.

5. What's your favorite thing about me? (ha ha ha, I have to ask, I'm a curious lass)
I like that you're very honest and open (well, I only really know you through your blog, but you seem pretty honest and open, lol) and you're kind.

6. Cats or dogs? What's your favorite? Why? If neither, what is your favorite pet type animal?
I would probably have to give my vote to small dogs, though I like cats too. They lay with you and cuddle and stuff, but cats generally keep to themselves. I mean, I love cats, I just wish they were more people friendly (they never let me pet them :( )

7. Does it annoy you that all these are multi part questions? Kidding, real question: Any tattoos? Attach a photo if you're brave.
No to the fake question, and no to the real question. I don't really have anything against tattoos and piercings if that's your thing, but they're not for me.

8. What is one skill you don't have that you’d like to learn?
Boxing, cooking, piano, guitar, programming, building computers from scratch, computer networking, and communication skills are a few I can think of offhand.

Well, there your answers are Denise! This game was fun. ;P AND I get to skip the hard-work part of making up my own questions and tagging, since I don't follow any blogs except yours. Woot. ^^

That is all! 'Night.

And oh yeah, I changed the blog design today. It's been almost 2 months since I started this blog/journal so I decided a change would be good. Also, going to have a "Song of the Week" I pick each week on the sidebar, as you can see. Enjoy.

I used http://www.video2mp3.net/index.php to convert the youtube videos with the song on it into an mp3 file. It was cool. Took me hours though with my crappy internet. While I was doing this, I would listen to each song for about a minute after it finished downloading to make sure it was good quality. After going through my entire list, I realized my music preference has changed quite a bit over the last couple of years.

I used to be more into like pop music. But now I'd say my preference is rock, bordering on hard rock / soft metal. Also, World of Warcraft has heavily influenced me. A lot of the songs above are songs from the UK and a lot of them are techno, or what's called "dubstep" (electronic dance music, no singing or very little singing).

My iPod Mini finally gave out on me Thursday morning. It lasted me a good 6 years. :( Luckily, my mom had an iPod Nano laying around that someone gave her that she'd never used, and she said I could have it. The bad part is that it's got a million scratches on the front and on the screen. Ah well. I told my mom I'd take it as my birthday present that she never gave me last year, lol. So that's part of the reason I wanted to get these songs downloaded.

My money for college came in today, so it looks like I won't be going hungry! Yay me. So of course, first thing I did was grocery shopping. ^^ Got some fruits, veggies, chicken, and bottled water. Came home and made my lunch and dinner for the week (brown rice with green peppers, tomatoes, onions, broccoli, mushrooms, and chicken).

Oooh, last I mentioned was that I started BECK. Well... I finished it today. :| It was a really good anime. :) But... now I need to find another one to watch!! >:x Oh well, that can wait for later. This weekend I need to focus on Physics, since I really have no clue what's going on and my first exam is Wednesday. =/

I also read about 75 pages of this "Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle" e-book which is pretty famous (it's a few years old now, though). I downloaded it from here: http://www.torrentportal.com/download/1136100/Burn.The.Fat.Feed.The.Muscle.by.Tom.Venuto.+eBooK.torrent
It's a torrent file, only takes a second to download if you want to check it out.

It's a bit wordy and I haven't read much I didn't already know yet, but hopefully I'll find something. :)

My Career & Life Planning class starts Tuesday at 6 PM. Sucks I'll have to drive in rush hour traffic for an hour, then drive home in a few hours and go to bed.

Shoot... that just made me think about books... I just checked. I'm going to have to fork over about 250$ for 2 books... :'( Ugh.

Thursday was pretty intense. I finally got up and did my 5 mile 5 AM walk / jog for the first time in like a week, then I had weight training class and did about 40 minutes of treadmill work with some HIIT. After that, had to head over to the tennis courts, and it was reallly hot and bright out. Got a nice workout from that. Mmmmm.

I really don't think I should worry, since boxers and athletes run everyday, and my morning walk / jog really isn't intense at all, but I'm going to cut it back to only Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to make sure I'm not losing lean muscle too. :x Besides, I feel like I'm at a good weight now, I think, just need to work on building up some muscle mass and definition.

Oh, and I started taking my Creatine. Man, you're supposed to drink more water... And I am. I'm drinking like double the amount of water per day I normally do. My mouth gets so dry so fast. :x

Okay... going to finish catching up on some on-going anime series I've been watching and then hit the sack. I think there was more I wanted to report here, but I can't remember if so.

Ooh, need to update my weight training log now, then catch up on anime, then bed. kk

Vivienne Westwood - From NANA anime.

Yeah, the band members of BLAST from NANA had various jewelery and stuff of the brand name Vivienne Westwood. Randomly curious, I was looking for some of the stuff, and found out it's a real brand. Expensive too. :3

Here is one of the guy's Vivienne Westwood lighter necklace orbs:

And here's Nana's prized Vivienne Westwood ring:

The authentic ones are pretty rare and go for a few thousand each. Looks like you have to order them from Japan or you'll be getting fakes.

Anyway, I've started my next anime, and it happens to be based around music / bands too. The anime is called BECK. Going to watch a couple episodes then go to bed. ~

'Night!

Oh, tomorrow I've got Physics in the afternoon and then Physics Lab at night, and I've got Physics homework to work on. I'm going to try to download some music in the morning though, and post a list of all the new songs I downloaded. I think there are about 30 of em. A lot of them are trance / popular in the UK, I believe. I generally like mainstream rock music.

Finished Nana ~ Want more!

Yup, finished the anime Nana today. 47 episodes. And of course it's unfinished, and the manga is on-going. Someday they will make a new season though, and I'll be waiting! The 47 episodes were pretty amazing, and made me think about life, decisions, and a lot of other things, which of course also made me very depressed. >.> But it's a really good anime.

My ring and necklace got here yesterday. :) Didn't post anything though because I was busy watching Nana.

Going to weight training class in a few minutes, but when I get home later today I'm going to start downloading some new music. ^^

That's all I got. Cya~

Hopefully my Creatine will get here today.

Off Track

Like I tend to do, often... I've gone off track a little bit the last few days, and have been sedentary and had a touch of lack of motivation. I didn't get up at 5 AM today, yesterday, or Thursday. Though I did do "high intensity interval" training for 20 minutes at the gym on Thursday (walk 2 minutes at 4 MPH, jog 1 minute at 8 MPH, repeat) I definitely can't say I haven't been slacking. Going to clean my dishes and room up a bit today.

I just finished power-watching Over Drive the last couple days. It's an anime about someone who becomes motivated to do something for the first time in his life and puts forth his best effort (bicycling). I really enjoy motivational-type animes like this because they make me want to try harder and become motivated myself.

When I finish cleaning my room and dishes, I'm going to watch my movie that just came in from Netflix (Gladiator) and then I'm going to start the next anime I've picked out, NANA. It's supposed to be a really good slice-of-life, romance, music anime and since I'm in the mood for some romance, decided to check it out.

There was more I was going to say, but of course I forgot. :x

Oh. For the first time in like 7 years, I've stopped using Firefox. It's been acting up and making my computer run really slowly, and crashing, and freezing. So, I decided to try out a browser I tried out a couple years ago: Google Chrome. At the time, I thought it was a decent browser but went back to Firefox immediately, because it was simply faster and more efficient, in my opinion. Google Chrome looks the same as it did then, now, but it feels like a completely different browser. It's so fast and sleek compared to how my Firefox has been running. In fact, it honestly feels like I just upgraded my crappy internet to Roadrunner cable, lol. Loving Google Chrome so far.

Okay, that's all I have to say for now. :)

EDIT: Remembered a couple of things I wanted to mention while I was doing dishes.

My grandmother just left for Chicago this morning. She'll be gone for 11 days.

Also, my mom just got laid off from work yesterday (really she was fired for something that wasn't her fault, but they're saying she got laid off).

Also, the corners of my mouth have been sore and a little cracked/red lately, and I really think it's the new toothpaste I'm using, since they hurt when I brush my teeth and they started after I started using it. But, I decided to try using chap stick and see if that might help. My mom picked me up a little thing of it. XBALM Extreme Tropical. It smells like coconut. Now, I don't really like coconut anything (pina colada flavor isn't bad, but not my favorite) but I actually like putting this stuff on my lips. Smells good to me. :3

Okay, that's all. Bye again, lol.

Finished mah lab report!

Woohoooo, JUST finished my lab report. :x Took longer than I thought, and I did much more slacking than I thought.

Also, I added a tabbed page as you can see above: Weight Training Journal. I am required to have a log of exercises and stuff I do, for my Weight Training class, so I decided to just store it online, as it will be easier for me to keep track of and not lose. :) Plus, I plan on continuing it past the class.

I ordered 2 things off Amazon today... I won't be spending anymore money from now on, except on food and water. I've got everything I need (not everything I want of course, not by a long shot, but I'll survive ;P).

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003R1D0KG/ref=oss_product

and

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001FSWCM/ref=oss_product

This will be the first time I've ever bought or used Creatine, so I only got 300g (2 month supply) for now to see how it works out. Hopefully it will help me gain muscle and that's all. :x

Well, that's all I've got for now. I'm going to toss this lab report onto my travel drive and then print it and go to bed. 'Night!

Slacking on school!

Forgot to post yesterday, was out most of the day. I went to some new Aldi's that just opened with my sister and hey boyfriend. That was a zoo... Like, it was ridiculous. :x BUT I got 28 bottled waters for $2.79. :) Then we went to her house and hung out watching college football for an hour then went to the dollar movie theater with my mom and grandma. We saw 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice.' It was pretty good for a Disney movie I suppose. I used to love Disney movies when I was little, but I generally try my hardest to avoid them now. They just feel really childish anymore.

Oooooh, I managed to get up at 5 AM yesterday and do me 5 mile walk/jog/shadowboxing. ^^ And I managed to do it again this morning! Hopefully--no, definitely--I'll keep that up for at least a few months. Depending on that time, I may cut it back to every other day or something, but we'll see. Also, winter is coming up which could hinder me, but hopefully not.

I was looking at bluetooth headsets for iPods today. They're tooooo expensive. :(

Oh, and I randomly decided I've been sad without my class ring (I seem to have lost it a couple months ago :( ) so I was looking at some cheap guy rings, and I found this one on the Walmart store:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Men-s-Black-Stainless-Steel-CZ-Engraved-Band/10982787#

So, me being me, I ordered it spur of the moment. I will be wearing it on my right ring finger when it gets here in 3 weeks. :3 I got it engraved with, "Live the life you choose" I went through a whole bunch of different sayings and stuff, but that's the one I decided to go with. It'll help keep me motivated on life too.

Now I just need a puka shell necklace, like:

or

or

They're pretty cheap. I might end up getting a couple of them. We'll see.

I was watching Ashita no Joe all day today. >.>

1 more episode then I'm going to work on my weightlifting journal, then take the trash out... and there was something else I was supposed to do, but I can't remember....

TOMORROW THOUGH, I MUST get up and do my 5 AM jog, then work work work on physics book work, lap writeup, and online homework. No more slacking. If I get it all done I'll be nice and caught up, stress free.

Quick Week

The last week or 2 seems to have really gone by quickly. I guess that's because I'm going to college again. I was looking at treadmills today on eBay and craig's list. Found some on craig's list for ~50$. o.o Would be nice, but I really don't have the room I suppose. I'll just have to get a gym membership, maybe... maybe not. I'm going to bed at 9:30 tonight (as soon as I post this) and going to set my alarm clock for 5 AM. Hopefully I will hear it and wake up and get out of bed and go do my 'roadwork' which basically means jogging adding in some shadowboxing at intervals. Roadwork is a term used in boxing. Anyway, I'm going to seriously try to set that up as my everyday morning routine, I'll let you know how it goes.

I watched an anime movie today, Perfect Blue. It was a pretty interesting psychological thriller (I suppose that's what I'd call it). Then played some basketball.

I started to watch a netflix movie I got today, Sherlock Holmes, but I kept falling asleep so I decided I'll just watch it tomorrow.

I had Physics Lab Wednesday night. We did our first lab (there are 5 groups of 4 people, you're with the same group the entire semester for every lab and each person in the group receives the same grade). Unfortunately, somehow, I'm the most talkative person in my group... that's a very bad / sad / scary thing... =/ Oh well, we got the lab done, and I volunteered to do the first lab report. I'll have to get it done tomorrow probably.

Then yesterday I had weight training and tennis classes. I was pretty sore and really tired, and my nose got a sunburn, when I finally got home. Surprisingly though, this morning I didn't really hurt at all. I'm guessing that protein powder is doing its work. :3

Going to start a new anime tomorrow: Dear Boys. It's a basketball anime, and I heard the animation is really poor / low budget, but I'm going to check it out anyway. Hopefully it's decent.

Oh and I was working hard last night trying lots of websites to get my WoW account sold. I ended up putting it on an auction-type website called IGXE for 500$. Hopefully someone sees it and wants it. One of their representatives contacted me today to verify the account and what not.

Alright, that's all I can think of for now. I'll report in later. 'Night.

Wednesday, September 1, 2010

Wow, it's been over a week already. >.>

Uh, yeah... haven't really been much to post about lately. Just been going to class, watching anime, eating, and sleeping pretty much. In fact, even though it's been over a week I can't think of a thing to write. :3 So I guess this is just me checking in with myself, lol. Cooking chicken and rice and veggies right now in preparation for dinner, then I've got class at 7. I've been looking at netbooks everyday on ebay too. I think I'm going to try to get one for around 150$ if I can. That way when I have to sit up at Clearwater campus for like 7 hours, I can browse the internet and listen to music or whatever instead of wasting the gas money driving home, one hour both ways.

Okie, ttyl.
