Okay, don't sweat it, just focus. New blog look too!

So yeah, I've been slacking in Physics (big surprise) and haven't done anything for the last month, basically. Well, our first exam was Wednesday. I started studying, beginning at chapter 1, last Monday (yes, 2 days before the exam), and the exam was to cover 6 chapters, which was approximately 200 pages in our book. Well, I skipped class Monday and Tuesday in order to study. Needless to say, I didn't make it through the 200 pages, nor was my grasp on the Physics good at all. So, incoming F. I didn't even want to go to class to take the test Wednesday because I knew it would be a joke.

Well, I went... And surprising, I think I might have actually got a few points right on the test. :) It was all problem-solving / essay, no multiple choice, true/false, or fill-in-the-blank of course. >.< I mean, I know I didn't pass it, but I am interested to see how he grades it.

I've decided to get up at 5 AM to jog 6 days a week, with Friday being my "break" day. I WILL NOT FAIL AT THIS! So I have to go to bed in about 20 minutes (probably about the time I finish this blog post and update my weight training log). Tomorrow I've got to take my mom to her cleaning job and then I'm going to head up to the gym and get a membership, maybe... arg, I'm still debating it. It's 25$ a month, plus 50$ up front (so 75$ for the first month)... Idk.

I started watching a new anime yesterday, and should be finished with it tomorrow. It's pretty good, though of course not as good as the awe-inspiring and amazing Hajime no Ippo. The anime is Buzzer Beater and it's a sports anime based around basketball. It's a little unrealistic though, in that the whole story revolves around humans playing against aliens, called Gorans. It's still pretty good though.

Also tomorrow, I need to do my Career & Life online homework, and order the book. ALSO, WORK ON PHYSICS DUSTIN, YOU SLACKER. Okay, thanks I will.

I can tell that running in the morning (I haven't been doing it lately again, because I fail) has really been helping me though. I could clearly see my improvement yesterday when I was doing high intensity interval training on the treadmill. I managed to pull off a half hour of alternating between 4 MPH, 8 MPH, and 10 MPH. It was pretty tough, but really not that tough. I'm impressed. I didn't think I was improving at all, but obviously it must be helping, since I had trouble running at 8 MPH for even 1 minute before. Oh man, tennis really kicked my butt though, playing for 2 hours straight. It was so hot. When I got home, I looked in the mirror. My face is completely sunburnt. :x

Okay, on to the last topic thing I can think of right now: I was tagged in a "blog game" apparently by my good friend Denise @ somewhat of a spectable (Yes, the only person who might actually be reading this besides myself, lol -_-) Thanks btw, Denise. :P

So now I have to answer the questions she asked!

1. What do you lose most often? Your phone? Your keys? Your mind...? And where is it usually hiding.
Hmm... I would definitely have to say this is a tie between my wallet, cell phone, and car keys. Though, my car keys probably come out slightly ahead. They are usually hiding on my bed, or on the floor near my bed. :x

2. What was your first job? Did you like it? And what was one thing you learned from it you still use in your current big(er) person job?
Taco Bell cashier. I acted like I didn't like it, I think, but it really wasn't too bad of a job. Though, sadly, I love their food and would eat it all the time (Toxic Hell). I don't have a current big(er) person job. :x But one thing I think I learned is that people can be pretty obnoxious sometimes, but I think I already knew that before I had the job.

3. Favorite book(s)?
Harry Potter series, Da Vinci Code, Holes, The Giver, lots of others that I can't remember, lol (yes, they are my favorites even though I can't remember them!) I'm actually bad with "favorites" on any subject, since I'm "agreeable" I guess? I like everything as a my favorite.

4. What’s your favorite thing about yourself?
I don't really know. I don't really hate anything about myself, but I can't think of anything in particular that I like either.

5. What's your favorite thing about me? (ha ha ha, I have to ask, I'm a curious lass)
I like that you're very honest and open (well, I only really know you through your blog, but you seem pretty honest and open, lol) and you're kind.

6. Cats or dogs? What's your favorite? Why? If neither, what is your favorite pet type animal?
I would probably have to give my vote to small dogs, though I like cats too. They lay with you and cuddle and stuff, but cats generally keep to themselves. I mean, I love cats, I just wish they were more people friendly (they never let me pet them :( )

7. Does it annoy you that all these are multi part questions? Kidding, real question: Any tattoos? Attach a photo if you're brave.
No to the fake question, and no to the real question. I don't really have anything against tattoos and piercings if that's your thing, but they're not for me.

8. What is one skill you don't have that you’d like to learn?
Boxing, cooking, piano, guitar, programming, building computers from scratch, computer networking, and communication skills are a few I can think of offhand.

Well, there your answers are Denise! This game was fun. ;P AND I get to skip the hard-work part of making up my own questions and tagging, since I don't follow any blogs except yours. Woot. ^^

That is all! 'Night.

And oh yeah, I changed the blog design today. It's been almost 2 months since I started this blog/journal so I decided a change would be good. Also, going to have a "Song of the Week" I pick each week on the sidebar, as you can see. Enjoy.

You're adorable. Good answers. Also, the blog looks lovely. Study tip: don't get behind. All this time you spend watching anime you could take half of it and just re read what you went over in class that day (say 10 minutes between episodes). The on weekends just scan over everything from the wee. The more you study in small amounts the more chances your brain has to get it. Also, if you try to learn it all at once you'll be screwed no matter how good your memory is. It's best to give your brain a chance. If you are serious about improving take a recording device to class and listen to it while you run. Program your brain to remember. You can do it, just don't overwhelm yourself and set yourself up for failure.

Man, great advice. Now I really want a tape recorder thingy... I never though about that. I can record my science class lectures and then listen to them every morning while I run. That's bound to help. But yeah, that's my big problem... Studying... I've never studied in my entire life because I've never really needed to. I've gotten into a habit of always studying the day before a test and doing good, so that was good enough for me. I guess I became a little arrogant, because nowadays I don't even pay attention in class... It doesn't really feel like arrogance, but more a loss of motivation. It's a strange feeling; I tell myself to pay attention but it just doesn't work out.

I'm definitely going to see about getting a tape recorder though, and I'm going to try to complete any homework right when I get it. NO MORE PROCRASTINATION!! (we'll see how long this lasts... I'll do my best though)

Thanks for the comment. Feeling motivated now, lol.
